Bee'ah headquarters is a unique and futuristic building located in the desert of Sharjah, designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects. Simplicity was the key for this project.
The vision of the architects was to have a picture taken from the sky with a drone, 30 meters above the ground and 45 degrees angle revealing the natural flowing style of the architecture amongst the sand dunes.
Following the architect's dream, we envisioned the project with very low lighting levels surrounding all the landscaped dunes to create the impression of fluidity.
From the ground level, throughout the project, night time visitors would read the dunes as lines with lighting that would guide them through the main entrance to the central headquarters with a concealed linear lighting on both sides of the street. Surface mounted up-lights would provide accent lighting the palm trees to emphasise them as the only vertical elements within the site.
In addition to a zero waste to landfill goal, the headquarters is designed as a zero net energy consumption building. An integrated photovoltaic panels "farm" located within the site would provide the entirety of the complex’s energy needs.
